French New Wave catching strays.

The singular shot in the ending of the 400 blows is up there as one of the greatest ending in cinema history.

I think it is a testament to the French New Wave that there techniques are still used so much and imo detracts nothing from their innovation. It was brilliant but things age, in 50 years some more films might not stand and some might come into the public eye. Ofc some films are timeless.

My fav women director is Yamada but varda is not far behind.
