…o huge, in fact, that these days, it frequently tops polls listing the greatest films of the 1990s. I wouldn’t go that far, as I’d personally give that honour to Schindler’s List (1993), but still, The Shawshank Redemption is a key film of that decade, and deservedly considered a classic.
